Sustainability: the Forum Compraverde Buygreen will be held on May 15-16 in Rome

Buy European, buy sustainable! This is the new edition’s theme of the Forum Compraverde Buygreen, the leading event in Italy and Europe for Green Procurement, public and private policies, projects, goods and services promoted by Fondazione Ecosistemi. The two-day event, Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16 in Rome, will take place in the WeGil spaces, Largo Ascianghi 5.

Many topics will be addressed in the different panels scheduled for this 18th edition: with the many guests, innovative projects of environmental education, social and human rights in procurement, the impact of mass catering, green hospitals, sports and sustainability, up to addressing the unfair practices of green and social washing, enhancing good practices to communicate sustainability and addressing climate change will be discussed.

Protagonists of the Forum will also be city administrators, who with the network of mayors will propose new initiatives to ensure peace, the protection of social and human rights, and the defense of environmental commons. The full program will be presented in the coming days at a press conference.

The Forum Compraverde Buygreen enjoys the patronage and participation of the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, the Lazio Region, Roma Capitale, in partnership with Legambiente, the Coordinamento Agende 21 Locali Italiane, Ali – Autonomie Locali Italiane and Fairtrade Italia.
