ROLE-PLAYING BRUNDTLAND HALL
Climate Governance: a child’s play?
What are the key players involved, the conflicting interests, and the margins for negotiation? And above all, why is reaching an effective global agreement so complex, despite the visible impacts of climate change?
These are the questions that high school students will attempt to answer as they take center stage in an engaging role-playing game that will immerse them in a real international climate negotiation. By stepping into the shoes of political leaders, activists, economic representatives, and national delegates, participants will experience firsthand the dynamics, challenges, and strategies that shape global decisions about the planet’s future.
An immersive and educational experience designed to offer a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of climate diplomacy and the crucial role of political choices in combating climate change.
The event is organized in collaboration with ECCO, the Italian climate think tank.
