GPP Academy

At the Forum Compraverde Buygreen, the GPP Academy organizes training sessions on the most relevant and current topics related to Green Public Procurement and the ecological transition. This section of the forum addresses the growing interest generated also by the new regulations that have made GPP mandatory in Italy.

The GPP Academy’s training program was launched with the initiative “GPP from A to Z”, offering lectures and thematic insights, all freely accessible during the days of the forum. For years, this section has represented the key contribution of the Green Procurement Working Group of the Italian Local Agenda 21 Coordination to the Forum, covering 21 distinct topics – one for each letter of the alphabet.

The goal of the initiative has always been to help organizations navigate the world of green purchasing, providing practical and targeted training on specific topics. Until 2021, the training seminars lasted 45 minutes.

Since 2022, the GPP Academy has evolved its offer by introducing smart & digital sessions: short training units lasting just a few minutes on current topics, freely available via live streaming during the event and later accessible on the forum’s website.

To date, approximately 330 training sessions have been held as part of the GPP Academy.
