Activities
Activities for GPP and ecological transition
Forum Compraverde Buygreen takes place over three days of conferences, seminars, networking and reporting. Through its various activities, the event trains and informs on Green Public Procurement, disseminates national and international green best practices, promotes innovation and green transition.
Conferences
The conferences are the Forum Compraverde Buygreen’s primary tool for disseminating Green Public Procurement and opportunities for green and sustainable procurement. They are thematic meetings open to participation and discussion, with experts and professionals exchanging information and experiences, thus enriching the knowledge of all participants.
At the heart of the conferences are the themes of the ecological transition, the definition of environmental policies, and the monitoring of the transformation process of productive realities in our country. Among the conferences, special mention should also be made of the workshops that the Forum organises, aiming to bring a small group of people up to date on a specific specialist subject.
GPP Academy
During the two days of Forum Compraverde Buygreen, the GPP Academy provides in-depth training sessions on the most important and topical issues concerning Green Public Procurement and ecological transition. This section of the forum responds to the growing interest due also to the legislative changes that, in Italy, make GPP compulsory.
The aim of the initiative is to help organisations find their way in the world of green procurement by providing them with concise training on specific topics. The training seminars last 45 minutes and participation is open and free of charge.
We Network
At Forum Compraverde Buygreen sustainability-oriented networking is central. We Network is a strategic space for the exchange of good practices and the identification of shared solutions. Thematic meetings aim to facilitate the implementation of environmental and social criteria in calls for tenders and procurement policies, as well as to offer sector-specific insights and proposals for new green procurement projects and initiatives.
At We Network every community – institutional, entrepreneurial, associative – can decide to meet to promote and strengthen the change implemented with the possibility to start collaborations and transfer innovative practices and projects at local, regional, national and European level in the field of sustainable procurement and supply chains.
